Clawdia's Voicething Debut

I’ve been itching to take some proper pics of miss Clawdia Wolf, but she came out of the box with her beautiful, yellow tendrils smashed flat as pancakes. They needed a week or two to relax and take their natural shape. They’re still not perfect but I think they’re ready for their closeup. As for the doll itself? Given my patchy feelings on Clawdeen’s siblings — Clawd bores me and Howleen makes me want to jab my eyes out with a dull spoon — Clawdia has been a very nice surprise! I love the larger-bodied dolls in general, and that smiling mold is something new for MH. What I really love is her faceup, especially her stripey eyeshadow. Aside from the shimmering top layer it’s matte, an effect I almost always appreciate. Her outfit is tasteful, fitting for her age. Her red knee-high tights basically give me life — love ‘em! As you can tell from my pics I prefer my Clawdia sans glasses, but they’re definitely cute when I’m in the right mood. All in all, another great doll from MH! Beautiful, unique, and loaded with personality!

  1. We bought Clawdia today, she's so cool! I love her knee-high socks, maybe that's because I wear knee-highs myself, or maybe that's just because they're so awesome! :D
Btw, we finally got Apple White! The EAH dolls came to Finland last week and at first I was amazed by how large their heads were, that just doesn't show so good in the pictures. But what can I say, I love Apple. Her hair fiber is so soft, I thought it would be like Lagoona's, a dry mess... But now I am officially a member of AWAL (Apple White Appreciation League). Next we need Raven and Madeline. And Huntlynn! Ok, not gonna lie, we need all of them... ;)

    1. Congrats on your Clawdia! She's a fab ghoul and those knee-highs are a big reason why! And double extra big-time congrats on your Apple White! Apple's hair is superb if you get a good one, which it sounds like you did :D Some have gotten Apples with "iffy" hair, which is a shame because when you get a good one it's just about the best playline doll hair you're gonna find. Welcome to AWAL (as you probably know I'm a *very* proud member myself lol); it's a great group! Just my two cents on this one, but I think you should next focus on getting that Huntlynn set! Ashlynn is my favorite EAH doll after signature Apple, and Hunter is by far the best male doll I own. (That said, I only own a small handful of males so make of that what you will. Nonetheless, he's a real hunk with a great outfit and really nice, detailed accessories.) But of course it's your choice who you get next, and with EAH you really can't go wrong no matter who you choose! Happy hunting, Meow! :D

  2. Her smile is just so great! And those molded fangs, fabulous! I also like how they changed her hair very subtle from what we've seen at SDCC, having a big portion of her hair behind her in a ponytail really brings out her pretty face!

    1. I agree about the ponytail highlighting that pretty face, but have you seen pics of her with the ponytail taken out? Those yellow tendrils do look awfully good when let loose! Either way she looks gorgeous. (Which is why it hurts my feelings when people make fun of her on Tumblr -- she's just adorable, how can anyone hate that eager, friendly smile?)

    2. I agree. She looks very versatile from many angles with that smile, ranging from cute and nerdy to insanely crazy in a good way, haha!
On another note, I finally got 3 of the New Stars and both Sweet Screams dolls, and they are just awesome! I still can't decide wich one between Viperine and Honey I prefer, so I'm leaving it at a tie. They're both great! Unfortunetly, Clawdia sold out in minutes, and the owner of the store was unable to grab one for me to hold back, but hopefully he can restock this line within a few weeks, and then he'll immediately pull one out for me.

    3. Wow, that's one hell of a doll haul! I bet you were in a good mood that day!!! And those are all such great dolls. I still sit and marvel at the details and uniqueness of the SS dolls. And I can't say I blame ya about Vipey and Honey -- both are very good dolls, two of MH's best imo.

    4. That definetely was a good day! The SS dolls are really awesome! Before having them in person, I was thinking of leaving them in the box because the box art and everything is so nice, but the second I had them I knew I'd rip 'em right outta their boxes when getting home, haha! Their so full of personality and quality, and they pose so nicely and full of live, I don't regret getting them out :D

    5. Oh Mighoula, their vibrant and sweetly sadistic personalities bounce right off those nearly-deranged looking faces! Of course, they're only deranged because they're basically caught in the middle of a sickly sweet sugar overdose trip (AWESOME), but still -- those ghouls are off their faces lost in candy land! In the best way possible! Lol! How could NOT unbox them!??
