Photo Set: Ghoul's Day Out Starring Rochelle Goyle

Why the possessive in the "ghoul's" of the post title? Because we're only looking at one ghoul today. That said, one ghoul does not mean one doll...

Lovely to see you, Rochelle! Your outfit -- which I love, by the way -- looks a little "sassier" than the clothes you usually wear. It's a nice change for you!

I've always felt you have such a sweet, friendly facial expression; you make Lagoona look angry by comparison! Your GNO look is probably the closest you're ever gonna get to fierce, and even then it's a stretch.

Mm-hmm, work those fleur-de-lis heels, girl! Say, I wonder who else is around here?

Oh, nobody I guess. But damn, Rochelle, that sure was a quick change! You related to Superman or something? Wow, I love your eyeshadow -- aqua is definitely your color! I must say, something about you looks a little more "monster-y" than usual. I like it!

Okay, now you're just goofing off!

Yes, I definitely like this look on you -- very nice. You look so serene.
The bun really emphasizes your endearingly shy personality. J'adore!

Another change! I can't keep up!

You got a haircut! If you ask me, this is easily your best 'do to date. Very chic. Digging your shades, too!
Did you get them at the same store Briar shops at? They remind me a lot of hers.

Yeah, your beach bag's cool I suppose. It's really hard for me to focus on it because I'm still freaking out over your amazing hair! Yes, your swimsuit is pretty wicked, too. The detailing on the bodice is just so you, Rochelle. You have great taste!

Now that Mattel has decided the quality of Cleo's hair should be variable from doll to doll, you've become my go-to girl for dependably fab tresses, Rochelle. Hope it stays that way!

Since you're here anyway, readers, how about a little box art...

Today's post may be a teaser of things to come...

    1. Same here. I love that out five Rochelles now not a single one is similar to another. All five are very unique. No Abbey-esque same-y dolls for this girl!

  2. Seeing as I can't buy any new dolls for a while, I'll just have to ogle yours. *sigh*
    Rochelle is so pretty...

  3. What are you doing to me? Aaaaaaargh! I bought Scaris Rochelle for the outfit and promised the body to a friend (because I have a thing against human/animal hybrids, long story). I fell in love with her in an instant (gargoyles aren't even animals, right? they're rocks) and I'll die the day I let her go T_T And now this parade of Rochelles on your blog! I even like the swim doll, although short hair and fringes are usually dealbreakers for me. I hope they will still have GNO in October, that's the earliest I can be around a toy store.... *goes to cry*

    1. Lol! Hmm, if you have a little $ you could grab yourself a second Scaris doll. Or attach the head to one of the CAM bodies. (I can't remember which one has the grey body -- maybe the wolf girl?) As for GNO, they're this years DDG-type line, and I'm still seeing DDG on most store shelves, so I have a feeling you have plenty of time to get Rochelle's GNO doll! :)

    2. Oh good! They cost way too much in my country (I had a friend bring the Scaris one). I hope to find them in October.

  4. Hey again, John. I thought I'd give you a heads up on some new shoe molds (prototypes) for the MH dolls...
    Skelita
    Jinafire (and Cerise's bellt)
    Clawdeen
    Aren't they amazing?!
There are others in the owner's photostream, too!
I was gonna send this to you via Flickr Mail, but I thought you'd see them quicker here (and to let others see). :)

    2. I wonder if the designers thought of how positively received SS Cleo's shoes were when designing Jina's shoes? The shoes themselves are nice and simple, but the heels are amazing!
I also really love Skelita's shoes. I wonder what the final product will look like? I'm thinking those rosettes would look pretty in yellow & orange, like her favourite colour; marigold. I think we'll see Jina & Skelita again in the 'New Scaremester' line. I'm also really excited for the 'Frights, Camera, Action!' line.
So many new dolls, I'm really struggling to keep up! *hyperventilates*

    3. I think overall I'm honestly probably a little more excited for New Scaremester than the other upcoming lines. I just always love the signature/basic dolls, and with Skelita and *especially* Jina included, well, I really don't have the words to describe how elated I am for the line! I've really been all making sacrificial :givings" to the Mattel gods to get new dolls for those characters. Especially Jina! Have I ever mentioned on the blog just how much I love her? ;)

    1. Thanks! I think my favorite things agout GNO Rochelle are her dress and those cute little barrettes. She's really vivacious, it's totally different from her other dolls, who are more serene and sweet.

  6. ARGH... I'm having the HARDEST time deciding between Swim Line Rochelle and Ghouls Night Out Rochelle for my official Rochelle (I only get one of each ghoul - no money for more!)... They're both so lovely! I think Swim Line Rochelle might be slightly prettier to me, but there's the Ghouls Night Out 4-pack with that lovely Venus and awesome Ghoulia to consider, as well... Oh, decisions, decisions...

    1. I'm sure others will disagree with me but I say go for the Swim doll! She doesn't have all the bells and whistles the GNO doll has, but she's overall a much prettier doll imo. She has my favorite Rochelle hair (to date), and her swimsuit is actually really cute. Great shades, too! She just a really charming doll. I like the GNO doll too and her outfit is amazing, but something just seems "off" about her to me, something about her face. I'm a bit so-so on her hair too. It's a cute look, but doesn't feel very "Rochelle" to me. While the Swim doll's hair is pure, 100% Rochelle. But either way you can't go wrong; I'm certain you'll be pleased with whichever you choose.
