Poll: Vote for Voicething's next review subject!

Over the past several days I've gotten a lot of requests for different dolls people would like to see reviewed. The thing is, there's no clear consensus on who it should be. Everyone has their favorite but you Voicething readers are a varied bunch and you folks all favor different dolls. And as for myself, well, I've loved all the dolls I've picked up lately to some degree or another so it's hard for even me to choose who to do next. The solution? I'll let you, the readers, pick! Here's how it works: If you look over to the upper right corner of this page you'll see a brand new poll. (If you're on the mobile site scroll to the bottom of this page and click "View Web Version". When the page reloads you'll then see the poll.) You'll see three options there; these are the three dolls I've gotten the most requests for. They are:

You can only vote once, although if you vote and then change your mind you can come back and switch your vote to a different candidate. However, there is a catch: For the winning candidate to be reviewed there must be at least 50 votes in total placed. That's 50 total for the entire poll, not just one candidate. So spread the word about the poll! Tell all your friends! Post the link to the poll on your Facebook, or Twitter, or whatever your chosen social media platform is! The more people who vote, the more fun it is to see the results! Oh, one last thing: I plan on posting the review of the winning candidate tomorrow! That means you gotta act fast! Poll: What is your favorite Operetta doll?

It's time for another Voicething poll! After reviewing Operetta's Picture Day doll, I placed her on the shelf next to my other Operetta dolls and found myself doing an internal compare and contrast of the various versions of her. Naturally it got me wondering what you guys think of Operetta's dolls, and which is your favorite!

Do you prefer the one and only original, victory rolled, basic Operetta? Or maybe the day-glo faceup of Skultimate Roller Maze Operetta is more your style? Perhaps dark and vampy Kohl's Operetta is your go-to, or maybe you like the brand new Picture Day doll. You'll see all six Operetta dolls released to date listed in the top block to the right of this blog post. Select your doll, hit the vote button, and you're done! The same rules apply to this poll as last month's Cleo poll. You have one full week to vote, but you can only vote once! You can follow the vote tallies as the week progresses; if your favorite doll is lagging behind the others get the word out to your fellow Monster-ites! Do some campaigning! The more people who vote the more fun it is! When the poll closes I'll do a rundown of the votes and officially place each doll in a Top Six countdown. Update: As you may have noticed, the voting tallies on the poll are all wonky. One minutes it shows over 50 people have voted, the next it says 7 people have. I'm in contact with Blogger about this glitch and will hopefully get it worked out. In the meantime, go ahead and vote! Hopefully the Blogger techs will be able to provide accurate final voting numbers!

Poll: What is your favorite Cleo De Nile doll?

During the survey several of you suggested doing random polls. I think it's a great idea! Polls are fun and let us see where everybody stands on our favorite topic -- Monster High dolls! I thought for the first poll I'd go for something simple and to the point. Favorite doll of a certain character makes the most sense, right? But who to choose? I think we can all agree Cleo would request -- make that demand -- she be first. And who am I to deny her?

I'm limiting the options only to dolls that have officially hit store shelves since we all know all too well that the manufactured doll is often pretty different from the promotional picture. That amazing-looking hair from the promo shot sometimes translates to a frizzy mess once the doll is boxed and on store shelves! I'll keep the poll up for exactly one week, one vote per person. So let your voice(thing) be heard!

I'm not sure how often I'll be posting these polls. Once a week makes sense, but that takes away the element of surprise. I really love the element of surprise. Hmm. I guess we shall see...
