Catastrophic Fierceness

Was doing my daily perusing of the MHD forums and came across these high-res shots of the upcoming Power Ghoul dolls. Unless things have changed these will be Target exclusives and will hit shelves... soon? I can't remember. To be honest I'm completely discombobulated by the overpowering awesomeness of Toralei as Cat Tastrophe. Take a look.

Whoa, right? She's amazing! We finally get a second Toralei, and she's this bodysuited, retro, fierce babe. Those boots! And belt! And glasses! Love her!

There are three more dolls in the line -- Frankie as Voltagerous, Clawdeen as Wonder Wolf, and Spectra as Polterghoul. The idea behind the line is that the characters have been re-imagined as superheroes. Supposedly this is a sort of sister line to the Target exclusive Scarily Ever After dolls, in which we saw three characters reinvented as storybook heroines. Supposedly the Power Ghoul dolls will include a small comic book -- I seriously hope this is true! Anyway, take a look at the rest of the characters. They all look pretty fab, though Toralei as Cat Tastrophe is the stand out for me.
